FAQ

Introduction to Cannabidiol

What is cannabidiol (CBD)?

Cannabidiol “is the second most prevalent of the active ingredients of cannabis (marijuana). While CBD is an essential component of medical marijuana, it is derived directly from the hemp plant, which is a cousin of the marijuana plant. While CBD is a component of marijuana (one of hundreds), by itself it does not cause a “high.” According to a report from the World Health Organization, “In humans, CBD exhibits no effects indicative of any abuse or dependence potential…. To date, there is no evidence of public health related problems associated with the use of pure CBD” (Harvard Medical School, 2020).

Is CBD legal?

CBD is legal to some degree in all 50 States. CBD is considered analogous to THC by the federal government, however, it is not actively enforced against. We urge you to check local and state laws regarding hemp and CBD before purchasing any cannabis-derived products.

The legal status of hemp and CBD is rapidly changing throughout the United States.

What is CBD used for?

CBD is used for a variety of reasons, unfortunately, we cannot legally mention or discuss any of them on our site.

What are the side-effects of CBD?

The side-effects resulting from CBD use are mild and can often include drowsiness and dry mouth. CBD can interact with some medications, such as blood thinners; we urge you to consult with your doctor before consuming CBD or cannabis-derived products.

Other Common Questions

Do your products contain THC?

Yes. All of our full-spectrum products contain low levels of THC (delta-9-THC and THCA). All of our products contain less than 0.3% delta-9-THC, as required by law.

Will your products make me “high?”

No. While many of our products can produce desirable feelings and results, none of our products will produce the effects commonly associated with products that are high in THC.

Will I pass a drug test using you products?

We make absolutely no guarantee that you will be able to pass a drug test when using our products, or any cannabis-derived products. One of the primary issues with drug tests and CBD products is that many drug tests do not distinguish CBD from THC. We recommend that you use CBD and cannabis-derived products responsibly.

Are your products 3rd party lab tested?

Yes. Our products are tested by Desert Valley Testing.

How much CBD should I take?

Due to a lack of research, this is a hard question to answer. However, we recommend that you start with a low dose, regardless of product. Dosing can vary quite a bit based on body weight and body fat percentage.

How should I store your products?

We recommend that you store our products in a cool, dry, dark place. Refrigerating our products is perfectly fine.
